Position Overview 

We are looking for an experienced Leasing Manager to join our team! As a not-for-profit organization, CHNW provides convenient, more-affordable housing for post-secondary students. The individual we seek recognizes the goal of creating a positive lease experience for CHNW residents, while ensuring leasing operations are executed per organizational and landlord/tenant law standards. The Leasing Manager drives our leasing efforts across the organization to assure maximum occupancy levels in our communities.

Location: This is a hybrid role supporting students at all CHNW sites, combining in-office/onsite and virtual meetings. 

Leasing Manager Snapshot of Duties 

• Responsible for creating and implementing leasing and marketing plans that drive occupancy throughout the year, including designing and initiating leasing incentives.
• Collaborates with Community Managers to customize leasing and marketing programs for each specific community.
• Tracks and prepares monthly metrics and presents outcome measurements to the Community Manager, Senior Leadership, and leasing team members.
• Implements, communicates, and enforces policies and processes for effective leasing operations, including the implementation of resident move-in and move-out procedures.
• Accountable for ensuring that the leasing process at the site meets the requirements of CHNW standards, as well as Landlord/Tenant Law standards. 
• Partnering with Leadership, advise on rental rates and increases that are in-line with the company mission and operational goals.
• Building and maintaining strategic partnerships including campus/education stakeholders.

Leasing Manager Qualifications 

• 4-6 years of related experience in Property Management or Real Estate Leasing.
• 2 of years being in a multi-site management-level role.
• 2 years of leasing-related marketing experience, including social media/digital marketing.
• Experience and Knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord/Tenant laws, rules, and regulations concerning apartment leasing and management. 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related degree preferred, but not required. 
• Student housing and/or non-profit organization experience is a plus.
• Experience driving the lease-up process for new acquisitions and developments is preferred.
