100% onsite at the Thousand Oaks facility. Local Candidates only within commutable distance. Hours are 8am-5pm, flexible when needed.
Ideal - Bachelor's degree. 2 YOE in industry or must have minimum academic training in quantitative analysis to determine concentration of drugs in biological samples. performing calibration curve to determine concentration in unknown samples through understanding of mass spectrometry, willingness to handle tissue samples. Organized individual, excellent time management, ability to work independently, follows good documentation practices, follows detailed procedures. can complete data in timely manner (situational, but processing/analyzing up to 100 samples per day). Accuracy and precise in lab. Wet lab and data processing. Good with presenting data to small groups.
Perform quantitative bioanalytical experiments and organize data and results, including planning and running LC-MS/MS bioanalysis and preparing and analyzing biological samples primarily in support of non-GxP discovery studies. May participate in method development and method validations for regulated studies. Develop solutions to technical problems for discovery support and bioanalytical methods under supervision. Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebook and effectively communicate results. Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures which include but is not limited to the completion of training on assigned tasks, maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, and following detailed SOPs and other written procedures. Understand when to seek input and when to make independent judgments. Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities and operational support as needed, including QC of reports.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
* B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Physical, Life Sciences or related technical discipline.
* 0-2 years' experience performing bioanalytical analysis.
* Strong theoretical understanding and/or experience with a broad array of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
* Demonstrate independence and ability to produce quality results under supervision
* Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebook
* High energy individual who can multi-task and handle a fast-pace, dynamic work environment
* Operate specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation
* Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities
* Complete training on assigned tasks
* Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures which include but are not limited to the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, and written procedures
Pay range - $23- $24 per hour
