Title: Accountant
Location: Rosemont, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
• Prepare standard and recurring journal entries
• Prepare monthly corporate balance sheet account reconciliations
• Perform General Ledger month end close activities
• Support monthly reporting activities
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis
• Support quarterly forecast and annual budget process
• Other project or duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of current general accounting experience
• Experience with other (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
• Possess a professional demeanor
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details
• Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand, develop and refine processes
• Ability to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects at one time
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
• Experience with JD Edwards One World 9.2 ERP software
• Experience with Blackline Software – account recons, journals, tasks
• Experience with PowerBi
• Experience with Planful/Host Analytics
• Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
