What You’ll Do…
- Assist in the development and implementation of technical and operational plans.
- Assist in the development of functional programs and materials.
- Evaluate data and information to monitor status of ongoing operations.
- Use mathematical, statistical, econometric or other scientific methods and techniques in analyzing problems of management and technical nature.
- Review forms and reports, and confers with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements.
- Analyze and reviews a wide variety of plans and related operations and determines recommended changes to improve efficiency.
- Develop operational concepts, plans, and instructions.
- Identify alternative courses of action and makes recommendations.
- Oversee plans and operation of all types to assure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Assist in the conduct of conferences and working meetings.
- Guide and lead discussions.
- Recommend procedures and methods to be used.
- Assist in the publication of reports and other documents.
- May serve as an assistant to senior management analysts, technical directors, project managers, and the program manager.
- Minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in the above areas
- Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with an additional five years’ experience
- Experience in research regarding service matters and combined doctrine, operations, liaison and coordination with other Government agencies, industry is required
- Expertise with Change Management and/or Business Process Reengineering is highly preferred
- Be a self-starter; require minimum oversight and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Expertise working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- U.S Citizenship required
