Disability Solutions is Hiring a System Administrator Near Fort Meade, MD

Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a System Administrator to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP). The successful candidate will serve at the Fort Meade Maryland site. This position is contingent upon award.
The System Administrator for the Platform maintains operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards related to the use of computing resources.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 12 Years with HS; 10 Years with AA; 5 Years with BS; 2 Years with MS; 0 Years with PhD
  • Candidates with Armed Forces, college courses or associate degree, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
  • DoD 8570.01M / IAM-II certification within 6 months of assignment to position (CAP, GSLC, CISM, CISSP (or Associate))
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Master's Degree in a STEM subject, particularly systems engineering, network engineering, or cybersecurity OR associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, or engineering or its equivalent with 15 years' relevant experience
  • High degree of organization and communications skills
  • Expert Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
  • Active, Reserve, or National Guard military service with network or cyber security experience
  • IAT level III (CISA, GSE, SCNA, GCIH, CISSP (or Associate)) or IAM Level III (GSLC, CISM, CISSP (or Associate))
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
