Lead Android Developer with Flutter

Cognizant is looking for an expert top-notch Lead Android developer with Flutter experience to grow with our dev team! As a Lead Android Developer, you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Equivalent with 10 years of experience in an IT role 5 years of experience with Android development

· Experience leading large-scale Experience establishing enterprise-level technical strategy and architecture.

· Required Skills Technical Skills- Android, Flutter and Flutter User Interface

· Expert in Jetpack Compose with minimum 2 years of professional experience in Jetpack Compose.

· Associate must have developed complex UI and flows using all the latest feature in Jetpack Compose.

· 5 or more years of professional experience with Kotlin programming language for Android 3.

· Must have developed A11y complaint screens with Jetpack Compose

· Experience with developing Micro App or Reusable components/Frameworks for Android

· Experience with making Rest API calls from App.

· Experience with Crash Fixes and Performance improvement of Android App

· Must Know Software development best practices and can develop loosely coupled code.

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island, or Remote on USA

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/2/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 – 137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
