Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineer with experience in Node.JS, Java, and AWS, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities:

• Extensive backend end webservices/RESTAPI development using Node Js and Java
• Experience in UI development using Angular, JavaScript and unit testing framework Jasmine and Karma
• Cloud experience – AWS (ECS, LAMBDA, FARGATE) is must and experience in working AWS EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM,
• Utilize programming languages like Node.js, Java, Angular. Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.
• Secondary skills Java.
• Effective Client communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in Node.js.
• 3 years of experience in Java
• 3 years working and Hands on experience on AWS ECS, Lambda, Fargate
• 1 years of people management experience
• 3 years of experience in Agile practices
• Must be analytical and self-motivated.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $95K – $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
