Role: Sr.Java Fullstack Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Roles & Responsibilities:

·Minimum 10 Years Exp in Java, Spring, Cloud Development.

·Ability to take process high-level business requirements, ask clarifying questions, take in information from multiple sources, and derive full-fledged implementation plans.

·Identify and Analyse User requirements. Prioritizing, assigning, and executing tasks throughout the software development life cycle.

·Liaise with Product, BA, Dev teams and convert business cases into use cases.

·Architecture and design of products and integrations

·Strong knowledge of coding platforms/frameworks (Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Kafka, Rest API, PL/SQL, Cloud, React (Optional)).

·Should have fair understanding about GIT, Maven, JIRA, Jenkins

·Knowledge of Micro Services and REST API development

·Ability to work as part of a team and independently, Ability to Prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

·Good technical communication, analytical and Problem-solving skills.

·BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

·Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

Must Have Skills: Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Kafka, Rest API, PL/SQL, Cloud, React.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
