Cognizant is looking for a “Application Support” in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Qualification: BS or equivalent

Responsibility:

·The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration, end user support, system configuration, workflow management, and general system availability related to applications used on a daily basis by the engineering teams.

·Works closely with the rest of the IT and internal business teams to effectively support our business users.

·Provide day-to-day administrative support for multiple hosted applications.

·Provision new users, manage workflows, manage system configuration, and general end user assistance.

·Assess, prioritize and resolve issues reported by users in the various Veeva applications

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment.

·Commitment to excellent customer service

·Experience in a Software Support role

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[110,000 – 125,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
