The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java Full Stack Manager to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Location: Tampa, Florida

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in SDLC delivery in Agile methodologies
• Minimum two years experience in Java 11 and at least one year experience in Java 17 development is a must
• Must have developed Microservices, packaged into AWS, Elastic, Kubernetes Service and / or Elastic Container Service and deployed to EC2 instances
• Should have experience in writing Terraform scripts and deploy in AWS production environment
• Should have experience in at least one relational database management system. (Prefer Oracle and / or MySQL)
• Experience in REACTIVE java programming, ReactJs and Angular frameworks is an added advantage
• Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles.
• Demonstrated experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Jenkins
• Experience with application development on Java, J2EE, Spring, Java Design Patterns and JUnit.
• Java, Spring, NodeJS, SQL, JAVA 8, Spring boot, microservices
• Knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle/SQL Server, SQL
• Knowledge of Web service technologies including SOAP/REST.
• Strong working knowledge of IntelliJ, Maven and Tomcat.
• Any working knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes etc
