Cognix Concepts, a leading marketing company based in Miami, FL, is seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as a Communications Assistant. In this role, you will support the communications team in implementing strategies to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services.

• Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the planning and execution of company events, including meetings, conferences, and promotional activities.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform communication strategies and messaging.
• Assist with media relations activities, including drafting press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, and maintaining media lists.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for different audiences and channels.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engagement and community management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with content management systems.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
