Our growing Dallas office is seeking an Senior Electrical Engineer with six to twelve years of experience in the consulting engineering field, who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and have experience developing construction documents from project conception to completion. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team. We value self-motivated individuals with an enthusiastic mindset, an interest to work on diverse projects, and attention to detail to deliver quality engineering services.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum six/Maximum twelve years of relevant electrical engineering experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering (required)
• Design electrical plans and specifications for a variety of building types
• Past experience with a multidiscipline engineering/consulting firm (required)
• Experience with federal project design is a plus
• Contribute to Coffman's marketing and business initiatives as needed
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam, and general electronic drawing format software (Preferred)
• Familiarity with telecommunications or security systems is a plus
• Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
• Desire to mentor young engineers
