We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Code Sensei to join our team. As a Code Sensei, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the exciting world of coding. If you have a background in early childhood education, experience working with students, and a love for technology, we want to hear from you!

Duties:

- Teach coding concepts to students using our curriculum and resources

- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students

- Provide individualized instruction and support to students based on their skill level

- Foster creativity and problem-solving skills through coding projects and activities

- Collaborate with other Code Senseis to develop and improve curriculum materials (team player is a must)

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians

- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in coding education

- Willing to work at off-site locations (parks and recreations, elementary and middle schools, etc) several days per week

Requirements:

- Enjoys working with children and helping them achieve future goals

- Some knowledge of coding languages such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript (willing to teach right candidates)

- Experience working with students | kids in a teaching, tutoring, or coaching capacity

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

- Passion for technology and coding education

- Classroom management skills

- Creativity and enthusiasm for inspiring young minds

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
