Responsibilities:
- Provide security and maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including investigating disturbances and reporting any suspicious activities or persons.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
Skills:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of security equipment such as CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
- Familiarity with militarized security protocols is a plus.
- CPR and first aid certification to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations.
