Paraprofessional - SEBS ProgramCoburn ElementaryDescription of work: To work closely with student (s) under the direction of a teacher in an effort to facilitate the progress of the student in meeting the goals stated and to provide other instructional and support assistance as required by the teacher.Duties:- Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning. - Inform the teacher of any problems or special information about students. - Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned. - Work with students in independent study, skills work, and remedial work assigned by the teacher. - Other related duties may be assigned- Experience working with special needs students preferred - Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed - Assist in gathering data on students- Discrete trial implementation and data collection- Safety care training which will be provided by WSPSQualifications:*Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained, or WorkKeys completed*Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed*Experience working with autistic children*Background in SEBS*Such alternatives found to be appropriateSalary: Per Unit D Contract
