Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Duties:

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature

- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures

- Document medical history, symptoms, and observations in patient records

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Provide health coaching and support to patients in managing chronic conditions

- Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Epic) to accurately document patient information

-complete UAS for residents as per regulations

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Skills:

- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping

- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals

- Competent in medication administration and dosage calculations

- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques

- Strong assessment skills for monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes

- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis coding

- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and their families
