This internship opportunity is for students currently enrolled at the University of Colorado - Denver.
CoBank interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of their group. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the bank’s operations. An additional focus of the summer intern will be to complete a capstone project that will seek to add value to the team they are supporting.
Assists in preparing monthly journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. Participates in company's accounting procedures to help maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Provides assistance to accountants while performing accounting, administrative and bookkeeping duties. Coordinates in processing invoices. Assists with external reporting, management reporting, financial planning and analysis and tax requirements. Interacts with various accounting and reporting systems. Willingness to learn accounting and reporting information systems.
