Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence and enforcing security measures. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in deterring unauthorized access, ensuring a safe environment, and responding promptly to security incidents.

Responsibilities:

1. Access Control:

- Monitor and control access points to the premises.

- Enforce entry protocols for visitors and employees.

2. Patrol and Surveillance:

- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify and address security risks.

- Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor and report suspicious activities.

- Actively deter and prevent unauthorized access.

3. Incident Response:

- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.

- Document and report incidents to the appropriate personnel.

4. Report Writing:

- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities.

- Prepare comprehensive incident reports for any security-related events.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other security personnel to ensure seamless coverage.

- Communicate effectively with team members and management.

6. Compliance:

- Enforce company security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Training:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous security training and certifications preferred.

2. Experience:

- Proven experience as a static security officer or in a similar role.

- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

3. Skills:

- Strong observational and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

4. Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Capable of lifting and carrying moderate weights.

5. Availability:

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
