Coastal Gulf & International Inc is Hiring a Special Projects Manager Near Rose, LA

Description

Job Purpose

The Special Projects Manager is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with potential customers, working closely with Executive Team. The Special Projects Manager will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that supports Coastal Gulf & International’s overall growth strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Ability to complete special projects as assigned by Executive Team.
  •  Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers at all stages of the sales cycle to include targeting, prospecting and presenting compelling business propositions. 
  •  Work effectively with Executive team to develop long term strategic relationships. 
  •  Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of the Company’s laboratory and inspection services. 
  •  Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales. 
  •  Effectively manage contracts negotiations and close new business deals with existing and potential customers, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer. 
  •  Collaborate with professional services and other support teams to ensure successful implementations. 
  •  Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts. 
  •  Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports Company revenue and profitability targets. 
  •  Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote the Company’s services and brand. 
  •  Prepare and give business reviews and presentations to the senior management team on a monthly basis.
  •  Read and understand all job and safety requirements in English.
  •  Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  •  All other duties assigned by management.

Other Duties

Qualifications

  •  B.A., Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred, but not required Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  •  Minimum of 5-7 years Petroleum Industry experience.
  •  Proven ability to develop long term strategic relationships with Executive Team.
  •  Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business.
  •  Demonstrated ability to define and operationalize sales. 
  •  Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. 
  •  Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines; detail oriented Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  •  Knowledgeable of the Petroleum Industry.
  •  Must be able to work with all chemical, petrochemical and petroleum products.
  •  Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access preferred.
  •  Have a great work history with a track record of being responsible individual.
  •  Detailed orientated.

Travel

50% travel may be required.

This position is performed in an office environment.

  •  May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  •  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
