Environmental Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN, Columbus,OH , Cleveland, OH or Philadelphia , PA

Our Client is a leading environmental engineering firm dedicated to sustainable solutions and innovation in environmental management. With a strong commitment to preserving our planet for future generations, we specialize in providing comprehensive environmental consulting services to a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have 6-8 years of proven experience in environmental engineering and a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.

- Conduct environmental assessments, including site investigations, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies.

- Develop and implement remediation plans for contaminated sites, utilizing advanced engineering techniques and technologies.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies on environmental compliance issues.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into engineering designs and construction projects.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and technologies in the field of environmental engineering, and apply best practices to projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

- 6-8 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on project management and regulatory compliance.

- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.

- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS applications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality environmental engineering solutions on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

Senior technical review of engineering projects

Eventual management of engineering staff

Must Haves:

Licensed engineer in one or more states

Experienced in performing engineering tasks in environmental consulting with no supervision

Nice to Haves:

Personnel management experience

Experience with environmental permitting

Experience with in situ remediation design
