Job Duties
Coastal Consultants, PC has an exciting opportunity available in its Surveying Department. We
are seeking qualified candidates to fill the Survey Manager position. This position manages and
directs all survey operations and staff. They direct and support the professional development of
survey personnel and ensure all surveys follow rules and regulations for all clients.
Coastal Consultants, PC specializes in Construction Surveys, Land Boundary & Lot Surveys,
ALTA’s, Utility Surveys, and design. Coastal is a small firm, attentive to our clients’ every need.

Required skills for job & position:
Extensive knowledge of engineering and construction survey criteria, methods, standards,
and specifications
Knowledge of survey engineering principles as they relate to engineering survey and
roadway design.
Ability to effectively plan and schedule work.
Ability to collect, analyze and compile data into technical reports and presentations.
Skill in the use of electronic data collection and surveying equipment
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences.
Ability to lead, coach, counsel, and train others.
Ability to read and interpret roadway plans, survey plats, and courthouse data.
Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices to include hiring, performance
management, employee development and discipline.
Skill in providing and promoting good customer service to internal and external
customers.
Skill in the use of mobile devices, computers, and software applications
Minimum Qualifications
Land Surveyor's license or LSIT.
Valid driver's license
Current or former experience as Survey Party chief (5 years)
Extensive knowledge of engineering and construction survey criteria, methods, standards
and specifications
Skill in the use of computers and software applications to include survey, CAD, and
digital terrain modeling software.
Ability to collect, analyze and compile data into technical reports and presentations.
Skill in the use of electronic data collection and surveying equipment
Ability to read and interpret roadway plans, survey plats, and courthouse data.
Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices to include hiring, performance
management, employee development and discipline.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
