The primary responsibilities of this position are to keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and dusting. Operate floor scrubbers and buffers to clean and maintain floors. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies inventory. Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs. Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a custodian.
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to organize work and time to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment.
• Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
• Ability to bend, squat and climb stairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
