We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller supervisor to join our team. As a Medical Biller supervisor, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical procedures, verifying insurance coverage, ensuring timely reimbursement and account collection and aging reports. This is a crucial role in our healthcare organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating smooth revenue cycles. ```Responsibilities```
- Review and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure proper coding of medical procedures and diagnoses
- Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues
- Process payments from patients and insurance companies
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical billing regulations and coding guidelines

- Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health record systems
- Strong knowledge of medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)
- Familiarity with insurance claim processes and reimbursement procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
