Our products can be found in all major retailers and distributors in the USA and 30 foreign countries.About the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax/Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various tax-related functions within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The person for this role cannot be afraid of digging into the details and trying to learn about all other functions of the business.Responsibilities1. Reconciling sales tax across the United States and Canada with a large volume of direct-to-consumer transactions.2. Administer corporate credit card program and expense submission software (TravelBank).3. Reconcile daily eCommerce platform payouts (PayPal, Shopify, Affirm, and Stripe).4. Perform monthly US Customs/Duties and Inbound freight Reconciliations.5. Take on new tasks and projects as needed with an entrepreneurial mindset.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.Three years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.In-depth understanding of accounting principles and how operational activity will impact the financial statements.Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, the NetSuite ERP system and Avalara (AvaTax).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity with a self-starter, inherently curious, and a creative problem-solving attitude.Compensation DetailsSalary $75k- $90k DOEPTO 10 days.
