Position Summary 1st shift 6am to 230pm. 1 2nd shift availale. 230p-11p

Job Purpose :

Responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the storing, picking and / or shipping of materials or finished goods and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner

Nature of Duties :

Approves product for shipment by performing visual inspection of content, packaging and labeling to specified requirements.

Returns non-conforming product for rework and re-confirms rework

• Approves material kits by performing visual inspection of content, packaging and labeling to specified requirements. Returns non-conforming product for rework, and re-confirms rework
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps inspection and measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Education and Experience :

• Two to three years product inspection experience is preferred
• Possesses the capability to read and interpret technical requirements, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards
• Must have excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
• Must be computer literate with the ability to use standard office software
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-talk and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• Ability to work under indirect supervision and followings established practices and policies
• Ability to lift heavy objects and to stand for long periods on the job.
• Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines
