A National Real Estate Investment Company, which specializes in manufactured housing communities, is seeking a full-time District Manager in Tyler, Texas.
The Community Manager is responsible for the Operations of a Manufactured Housing Community, including, but not limited to - driving sales goals, ensuring asset quality, meeting financial objectives, overseeing all maintenance, and ensuring resident safety, satisfaction and retention. In addition, adhering to all applicable Fair Housing Laws governing real estate sales, leasing, and management.
Responsibilities/Skills:
· Accountability for all day-to-day operations of a mobile home community.
· Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed daily.
· Monitor and take accountabilities for all budgeted operational goals each month (controllable expenses, occupancy, collections, utilities).
· Manage customer service by providing positive resident experiences.
· Distribute resident violations daily to ensure that the community is clean and safety goals are met.
· Ensure sales goals are met using marketing initiatives and creative ideas.
· Oversight of daily maintenance and ensure work Order system is being utilized.
· Walk inventory homes to ensure repair work is done timely and cost effective.
· Manage collections daily and ensure the company goal of 3% or less is met.
Requirements:
· Bi-Lingual
· 3 - 5 years of experience in Property Management
· Proficient in computer skills and software, including Microsoft Office.
· 2-5 years in retail, hospitality and/or customer service industry.
· Must have flexibility to work weekends when required.
· Must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
