Chief FinancialOfficer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic ChiefFinancial Officer (CFO) to join a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated tomaking a positive impact in the Naples, FL community. As the CFO, you will play a crucialrole in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, andcontributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial guidance to theexecutive team and board of directors.
• Develop and implement financial policies,procedures, and controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financialplanning processes.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis tosupport decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to theboard, executive leadership, and relevant committees.
• Identify and assess financial risks, proposingand implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsand reporting.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financialresources efficiently.
• Implement strategies to optimize working capitaland liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards andlegal requirements.
• Oversee financial aspects of grant applications,reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with program managers to alignfinancial strategies with grant requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering aculture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support to staff onfinancial matters.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, donors,and partners on financial matters.
• Participate in fundraising activities andcontribute to donor relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or arelated field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a seniorfinancial management role within the nonprofit sector.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit financialregulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinkingskills.
• Effective communication and interpersonalabilities.
• Experience working with diverse funding sources,including grants and donations.
• Proficiency in financial management software andMicrosoft Office Suite.
