ASSOCIATEFINANCIAL ADVISOR

Overview

Our client iscurrently seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join their growing team intheir Houston, TX office.

The Associate Financial Advisor, or AFA, will support theFinancial Advisor to further develop and enhance existing client relationships.The AFA will assist the Financial Advisor by attending client meetings coveringfinancial planning, investment strategy, tax optimization and portfolioperformance. The AFA will act as a key point of contact for clients onnon-administrative requests and will communicate with team members to assistwith the coordination of all sales, service activities, and businessdevelopment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and own the client onboarding process
• Assist the Financial Advisor with the client’s reviewschedule
• Document client interactions and provide team with time-sensitiveupdates
• Execute on the team service model
• Engage the team to address client’s needs
• Attend client review meetings to assist in re-discoveryconversations, capture notes to follow up in Salesforce, and track all actionsand activities to ensure the highest level of client service
• Monitor and report on client satisfaction and manage theresolution of client escalations

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of financial service industryexperience
• Series 65
• Obtain and/or maintain CFP®Designation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with afocus on relationship management and the ability to connect with clients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail,with the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
• Capability to lead through collaboration and influence withdirect authority
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the suite of firmservices
• Ability to research escalated client issues for response/resolution
• Self-starter with the aptitude to work effectivelyand efficiently
