Founded in 1985, CNFA manages a portfolio of agriculture and private sector development projects worldwide. CNFA applies market-system approaches that engage local stakeholders to strengthen value chains and increase incomes, competitiveness, and employment for SMEs and entrepreneurs across sectors. CNFA programs strengthen the organizational and technical capacity of agribusinesses, cooperatives, and associations to support local entrepreneurs and SMEs and promote the uptake of improved technologies and techniques to enhance productivity, sustainability, and increase access to finance. We also facilitate strong business linkages between smallholders and suppliers of quality inputs, service providers, buyers, and profitable markets to employment opportunities and economic growth holistically to include entire communities.
Program Background
CNFA is currently seeking qualified candidates in the following technical areas for an upcoming USAID-funded program to supporting Albania’s EU Accession through Market Competitiveness. The purpose of this program is to help accelerate Albania’s accession to the European Union (EU) through improved competitiveness and EU market integration. The Activity will help Albania meet the criteria for accession and ensure that the approximation legislation needed to align with the EU Acquis are impactfully modeled through support to agri-food value chain(s).
