Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Manager in Training. This position is designed to provide comprehensive training and development opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a management career in the heating oil industry. As a Manager in Training, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of store operations, including payroll management, team management, sales management, inventory control, cash handling, and retail sales.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store under the guidance of experienced managers
- Learn and implement effective strategies for driving sales and achieving store targets
- Manage and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
-- Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers with their inquiries and make recommendations
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
