CMR - Outdoor Living is Hiring an Office Assistant/Receptionist Near Mason, OH

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing office operations, and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. This person is responsible for being the initial customer contact for current clients and potential clients as well as vendors, walk-ins, etc. May also handle organizational and clerical support tasks which includes client intake information, organizing digital files, scheduling appointments, writing processes, proofreading, receiving guests, answering the company phone and more. This person must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion.

Essential Job Duties :

  • Answer incoming calls and greeting clients and vendors with proper etiquette.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
  • Provides support and communication to current and prospective clients.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital company files, records and documents.
  • Responsible to accurately key customer and job information into company software.
  • Provide customer service and support to current clients.
  • Responsible for gathering all warranty information when CMR adds a new product line and keeps all warranty information up-to-date.
  • Responsible for gathering and creating the Thank-You Gift Baskets once a project build is completed.
  • Company Meetings. Responsible for company meetings including calendar creation, note taking and meeting room set-up/tear down.
  • Responsible for updating office methods and work procedures.
  • Develop and/or maintain a database of company processes pertaining to your job duties.
  • Responsible for keeping the exterior front porch and interior showroom clean and tidy.
  • Willing to learn new software programs.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Other tasks and duties may be assigned as company needs shift and change.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of proven experience in an office environment or another relevant administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple programs as well as excellent computer skills
  • Complete understanding of office procedures with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details and Status:

$21.00 - $23.00/hour Depending on experience.

FLSA Status: Hourly

Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Nearly always works indoors at your office/computer work
  • Must return phone calls and/or text messages from customers by the end of the day.
  • Have a high level of social contact.
  • Make simple decisions that direct affect the organization's reputation.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to keep a clean work desk and clutter free work environment
  • Repeat the same mental activities.
