Summary:The material handler position is an integral part of the facility operations. This position is responsible for the pick- up and movement of material from one department to another to fulfill the daily and weekly product production needs. Efficiency, attention to detail and safety are key components to this position. Responsibilities:Load and unload finished and unfinished productsDeliver material to designated departmentsPick up finished goods and deliver to specific holding areas. Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etcPull material to fulfil current order demand for specific departmentsPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements:Strong communication skillsDexterity and attention to detailAbility to meet the physical demands of the jobExperience in using warehouse equipment (Forklifts, pallet jacks)Organizational skillsAdhere to proper PPE requirementsHigh School Diploma or GED Qualifications. Physical Demands and Work Environment:This position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Position will be frequently required to walk, stand, bend, squat, and otherwise move continuously throughout shift. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
