Description

The Role

The Recruitment Team, North America, is responsible for hiring attorneys, law students, and staff for the US and Canada offices. The Recruitment Sourcer/Coordinator will provide support to the Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Advisors and Early Careers Advisor across North America. The person in this position will handle a combination of administrative and sourcing duties to ensure that all recruitment procedures run smoothly for the department.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Sourcing

  • Identifying high caliber candidates to join Clyde & Co by using direct sourcing, market mapping and research, and best practice research methods.
  • Screening profiles, reviewing resumes, and providing candidate shortlists
  • Building, developing and maintaining talent pools within our in-house candidate database
  • Conducting 1st round screening calls with candidates

Attorney and Legal/Business Services Recruitment

  • Prepare and post job advertisements online including company website and
    external job boards.
  • Prepare current open positions emails bi-weekly.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Schedule call back interviews and update calendars for interviewers and
    candidates accordingly.
  • Prepare candidate offer packages and assist with candidate offer follow-up.

Early Careers

  • Assist with coordination of law school recruiting and events, including on campus
    registration and preparation of any materials required.

Department Administration

  • Maintain department data metrics and tracking.
  • Maintenance of the department's iManage workspace folders.
  • Participate and contribute to the weekly Recruitment/HR meetings.
  • Assist with and support new department initiatives and projects within the wider HR team, when needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • One year of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services firm or
    equivalent education and professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with standard hiring practices and stages (sourcing, screening, interview,
    assessment, onboarding).
  • Prior experience with database management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and
    PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a service-oriented attitude.
