Position Overview
This part-time position at Club Monaco offers an opportunity to develop essential professional skills contributing to the company's financial growth. Key responsibilities include supporting store goals, adhering to customer service standards, operational procedures, and aiding in human resource processes. The role involves assisting managers in meeting expectations and training new sales associates while mastering various aspects of retail operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving client relationship goals to drive sales and maintain customer focus.
- Uphold the customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Train new associates on product knowledge and support staff development.
- Monitor and execute daily sales targets effectively.
- Communicate product moves and markdowns clearly.
- Oversee store opening/closing procedures during designated shifts.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of retail experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
- Excellent English communication - verbal and written
- Excellent time management/project skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
- Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner
- Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
- Dedicated to high levels of Customer Service and Sales Productivity
Physical Demands:
- Hours/days of work can be varied due to the demands of the business
- Must be able to work shift standing and walking and able to lift approx 20 lbs.
- Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting in receiving / stocking store functions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
