Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds 48 licensed critical care beds 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy to all referred patients. Administration and monitoring of oxygen therapy. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines at assigned center.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years experience in an outpatient clinic required. If operations allow will consider training in lieu of experience.
• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• Current CA State license or certification in one of the following is required (or equivalent): Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or RT or RRT and CPR-BLS required
• Certified Hyperbaric Technician required (If certification has not been acquired must be obtained within first year of employment).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Wound or critical care experience is preferred.
• One year of HBO experience
• AS Degree in a related field preferred
