Overview of Position:
The Onboarding Coordinator team is at center of Club Capital—WOWing clients from day one by delivering a world class onboarding experience. Onboarding Coordinators are the first people new clients interact with, so it's on us to make a great first impression (conveying efficiency, expertise, and being worthy of our customers trust!) while collecting sensitive financial data so that we can set up clients in our accounting systems.
Club Capital is a young, growing firm, with room to grow! We have offices in Bethesda but the option for remote work has always been part of our model.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Analyze our current onboarding processes to identify areas for automation and an improved customer experience
Delight customers with expert guidance and support during our onboarding process
Define, document, and debug how we interact with new financial institutions
Partner with Account Management, Sales, and Marketing to advocate for customer needs
Address payroll questions / concerns and provide first-level troubleshooting
Communicate effectively with internal owners/management on establish performance expectations
Manage personal workload to deliver high quality work product on time
Work across teams to keep others informed of client status (i.e. Club Capital Tax team and status of financials)
Requirements / Qualifications:
No less than 2 years of work experience with 18 months of it in a customer-facing role
An exemplary teammate, ready to wear multiple hats, inspire those around you, and taking pride in yourself for maintaining a professional brand and image
Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement presentation (not necessary, but certainly a plus)
Well organized and strong attention to detail
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
Strong leadership and personnel management skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and relationship-building skills
Excellent attention to detail
A passion for customer onboarding or customer success and enjoy working directly with customers and going the extra mile
Systems thinker with the ability to independently carry out rigorous problem solving Ability to juggle multiple projects without losing focus on timelines, progress, communication Experience and comfort with issue management and driving resolutions
This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the product development process at an accounting startup without needing a background in tech or accounting.
Additional Information: Salary: $50-$60k
Competitive. Individuals are compensated commensurate with experience and productivity.
