RN, Care Management..13 week assignment w/ possibility of extending if desired!
Our Client is currently seeking Registered Nurse for positions in Boston, Massachusetts for a 4 10 Hour Day Shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a current Massachusetts license. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in said specialty you are applying.
**SHIFT: 40hr Days, 4 x 10s - 7:30am - 5:30pm, ) Start time may vary. No major holidays.
Every 6th weekend as needed.** Req Exp: 3yrs; extensive background & knowledge of current MS patterns of practice & acute inpatient care Methods for assessing physical/mental impairment, understanding the characteristics of illness & expected tx. Knowledge of benefits, plan contracts, eligibility issues & requirements
Pref Exp: 5 yr exp w/UM & CM, EPIC
Req Certs: BSN,
Pref certs: CCM or related cert
Dept Details: Utilizing a collaborative process, the CM will assess, plan, implement, monitor & evaluate the options/services required to meet a pt’s health needs, using good communication & available resources to promote quality. The CM will meet pt needs, manage the LOS & promote efficient utilization of resources. Determines medical necessity & appropriateness of admission w/InterQual screening & inpt list from Medicare.
