Position Description
The Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital stands at the forefront of pediatric cardiovascular care, renowned worldwide for pioneering treatments that have significantly enhanced survival rates for patients of all ages with congenital or acquired heart defects. • State-of-the-art 42-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Dedicated 48-bed Acute Cardiac Care Unit
• Cutting-edge Cardiac Catheterization suite featuring 5 catheterization laboratories and an 18-bed Recovery Room
• 4 specialized Cardiac procedure rooms
• 5 advanced Cardiac Operating Rooms
• An onsite Outpatient Clinic, supplemented by 12 off-site outpatient cardiac satellite clinics

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with complex cardiac conditions, working within a supportive team environment to deliver high-quality care.
This Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing specialized care to acutely ill medical and surgical cardiac patients with complex congenital and/or acquired heart disease.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, working 36 hours per week with day and overnight rotations, including every third weekend.

To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of inpatient nursing experience,
• Experience in cardiac or telemetry is preferred
• Pediatric experience is preferred
