CloudForce is Hiring an Operations Assistant Near Oxon Hill, MD

Job Title: Operations Assistant

Location: National Harbor, MD (On-site, Monday – Friday)

Type: Temporary (120 days: July 1 – October 31)

Compensation: $15/hr.

Are you ready to dive into the heart of operations at Cloudforce? We’re looking for an Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team and be part of something big! In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily workflow of the office and our team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to actively contribute to the operational efficiency of our support functions while gaining hands-on experience and developing essential skills in a supportive team environment!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day office operations: Including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Front desk coverage: You’ll play a key role as the welcoming face of Cloudforce as you greet team members, vendors, and VIP visitors. You’ll participate in a rotating schedule with other members of the Operations team.
  • Maintain office aesthetic: Help keep our office looking sharp by ensuring everything is in its place.
  • General administrative duties: Support the team with copying, mailing, and digital filing.
  • Meetings and events: Coordinate and schedule staff meetings, management meetings, corporate functions, and company-wide events. Provide necessary support like reserving conference rooms and coordinating catering.
  • Communications: Draft communications to staff about office updates and perform proofreading.
  • Inventory: Manage inventory to maintain office supplies (pens, paper, notebooks, etc.), pantry items (snacks and beverages), swag, and general needs around the office.
  • Deliveries: Manage incoming and outgoing packages.
  • Special initiatives: Support the operations team in special projects and initiatives to improve office efficiency.
  • Contribute to our office culture: Join forces with your team to build a positive and collaborative office culture, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional etiquette and ability to interact with professionals and executives.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Must be available to be in office in National Harbor, MD: Monday through Friday.
