Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various retail duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process payments, refunds, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays as needed
- Assist customers with locating products and making purchasing decisions
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions about our merchandise
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Knowledge of electronics sales or jewelry sales is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
