A very highly accredited acute care hospital in Southern California is looking to bring on a new Nurse Manager Surgery to join their department. This 250 bed facility offers state of the art technology and an amazing team of Medical leaders.

The Nurse Manager Surgery will report to the Medical Director of the Surgical Services Department. The Manager will be supported by tenured and experienced Nurse Supervisors, as well as an amazing team of Charge RNs and Staff Registered Nurses. This person will get to work alongside an outstanding team of Surgical Physicians, Provider Specialists, and other departmental leaders. The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for holding Director responsibilities if they are away.

The Nurse Manager Surgery will be responsible for the 24-hour clinical supervision and administrative management of the Surgery Department in accordance with hospital goals and values. They will facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care, and will help lead a competent team staff by exhibiting excellent leadership and organizational skills. The Nurse Manager will also implement benchmarks for success while mentoring and educating other nursing personnel.
