Reporting to an experienced Rehabilitation Services Team, the Rehab RN will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned inpatients with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse will work closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide safe and effective care. The Rehab RN will have the opportunity to provide autonomous care according to hospital policies and procedures, and will collaborate with the unit manager, facility director, and other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients during their brief inpatient stays. This role will also be involved in patient discharge planning, providing education to patients and their families for a smooth discharge process.
