Under limited supervision, the Infection Control Manager is responsible for developing and monitoring the hospital-wide infection prevention program. Responsibilities include surveillance and analyzing of healthcare associated infections, ensuring policies meet state and federal regulatory standards, trains hospital leaders and staff members in infection prevention, serves as a resource and educator, and ensures overall quality of care within the organization.
