 The Lab Supervisor will report directly to the Lab Director and undergo thorough training under their guidance. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, overseeing the performance appraisal of team members, assessing staffing requirements, delegating tasks, evaluating equipment, and streamlining departmental operations for optimal efficiency. Additionally, responsibilities include analyzing procedures and protocols, adjusting workflows as necessary, and supervising equipment maintenance and calibration.

The Lab Supervisor will assume responsibility for overseeing nightly operations within the core lab department, ensuring smooth and efficient service. The Laboratory accommodates a diverse demographic, providing comprehensive care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric inpatients and outpatients. The hospitals services encompass a wide range of specialties, including Hematology, Coagulation, Limited Virology, Oncology, Mycology, Limited Bacteriology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Urine Pregnancy Testing, Toxicology, Immunology/Serology, Endocrinology, Cytopathology, Histopathology and Blood Bank.
