Position Overview:

As the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, development, and oversight of all laboratory operations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance laboratory services.
2. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
4. Monitor and optimize workflow processes to enhance productivity.
5. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of laboratory professionals.
6. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance protocols.
8. Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
9. Develop and manage the laboratory budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
10. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of service.
11. Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and administrators to enhance cross-functional communication and coordination.
12. Act as a liaison between the laboratory and other hospital departments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in laboratory services.
• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
