The Director of Medical-Surgical Services will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The Medical-Surgical Services department is a vital component of our comprehensive healthcare system. Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical-Surgical Services department, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal patient outcomes, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and service excellence.
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and staffing levels to meet patient care needs and operational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction scores, implementing process improvements as needed to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to medical-surgical nursing, incorporating new knowledge and innovations into departmental practices and policies.
