Job Description
WHAT'S IN THE JOB The On-Site Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a smooth operation of the Shiftfillers team working in warehouse locations. Primary responsibility is to make sure that all workers are on the job at the start of the shift and provide them with planning, supervision and clear directions for their activities.

Shiftfillers is a staffing agency specialized in servicing warehouses and distribution centers anywhere in the US. It was founded in 2020 by a group of staffing specialists with decades of experience and a strong passion for revolutionizing temporary staffing through technology.
You'll be hired as a Shiftfillers employee and will be our main representative at our client's site, managing our warehouse workforce.
As you'll be part of our core team, we're looking to hire an entrepreneurial, highly ambitious professional, curious and process-oriented with a high aptitude for learning. We’re seeking someone who isn’t satisfied with the status quo and will continually look for better, more efficient ways of doing things. This is an entry level role and provides the opportunity to significantly contribute to the success and direction of the company.
SHIFT: This is a full-time position, starting in the morning.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Combination work both on and off client site. Client sites may be climate-controlled, refrigerated, or non-climate controlled settings.
Check all workers in and out of their shifts and verify shift times as needed.
Welcome new workers, introducing them to the work site and client, and ensuring they are set up for success on their first day and beyond.
Conduct safety walkthroughs of the client site(s) regularly and escalating or directly mitigating any safety issues.
Manage workers throughout their shifts, including answering questions, resolving minor conflicts, providing performance coaching, and escalating severe issues to the appropriate contact.
Build and maintain a positive relationship with points of contact at client site(s) and leverage to grow relationships in terms of revenue and/or order volume in partnership with back office employees.
Report any and all worker injuries according to process in a timely manner
Engage in worker recruiting activities such as referral program setup and management, individual and/or group interview and onboarding sessions, etc.
Provide chat, text, and/or email support to workers and businesses
Other duties or projects as needed
YOU MUST
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Pass background checks and drug screen.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have good customer service/account management skills.
Be exceptionally able to learn and use technology, including Google Sheets and Asana.
Be highly motivated and ambitious; inability to settle for the status quo.
Have a strong desire to learn and seek continuous improvement.
Have the ability to both receive and provide regular constructive feedback.
Have excellent punctuality and attendance
Have reliable transportation
Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1 years of staffing experience
Familiarity with light industrial safety standards
Secondary languages preferred
