What You’ll Do
The Director of Loss Prevention and Workplace Safety is responsible for managing REEF’s global claims reduction initiatives and workplace safety program for all of REEF’s business units. He/she will actively engage with relevant business leaders to develop and maintain strong loss control and safety programs, compliant with all required laws and statutes, to promote a culture of safe working practices across the organization. He/she will lead/coordinate with the business incident investigations to determine root causes and examine any needs to refine current safety and other operational practices. This role will also analyze incident/claims data and trends, legal matters, etc. and liaise with operations, legal and other business stakeholders to reduce both incident/claims frequency and severity. This role will convey the state of our overall loss prevention and workplace safety programs to external stakeholders, including insurers and regulatory agencies, incorporating any feedback working with applicable government agencies and industry associations to ensure that legal and regulatory actions take into account the occupational circumstances.
