JOB SUMMARY:
Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:30pm-6:00am

This job includes but is not limited to, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas within the facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, from sweeping and mopping floors to ensuring restrooms are sanitary and well-stocked. Employees are responsible for following all Company policies and procedures. These policies and procedures will include adherence to regulatory standards such as CAP, HIPAA, CLIA and OSHA, including safety standards in performing all aspects of the functions below.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, and polishes hard surface flooring.
• Uses ladders to dust blinds, clean ceilings, and polish light fixtures.
• Removes stains from rugs, walls, and floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Handles heavy lifting up to 50lbs and disposes of trash.
• Empties waste baskets and replace liners in carpeted areas.
• Dusts/cleans tops of office furniture and vacuums all carpeting.
• Spot cleans soiled areas on carpets as needed.
• Cleans glass on lobby doors and exterior windows.
• Sweeps and mops tile areas in carpeted spaces.
• Maintains cleanliness in lunchroom/break areas, including cleaning appliances and mopping tile floors.
• Ensures hygiene in restrooms by cleaning and sanitizing toilets, basins, and urinals.
• Refills restroom dispensers and spot cleans walls, partitions, and doors.
• Manages non-carpeted areas by sweeping, spot mopping tile floors, and dusting/cleaning cleared desks.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT :

• Basic knowledge of janitorial duties and responsibilities.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance: uniform may be required at some worksites.
• Punctuality is essential for this role.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Attends periodic training and safety meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
