Embark on an exciting opportunity with Clicklease as an Accounting Assistant, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing Accounts Payable transactions, facilitating tax filings, and ensuring efficient lease payment processing. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a willingness to learn new software, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

What you'll be doing 

• Entering and assisting in management of Accounts Payable transactions

• Assisting the Senior Indirect Tax Accountant in filing returns, entering, and paying bills for business property tax across tax jurisdictions all over the US

• Facilitating transfers of Journal Entries from lease management software to accounting software

• Ensuring daily lease payments and lease disbursements are properly scheduled and sent

• Assisting in coding credit card transactions and credit card software management

• Assisting in coding employee expense reimbursements and expense reimbursement software management

• Assisting with check deposits

• Actively participating in accounting support functions for other internal departments

• Assisting in month-end account reconciliations and reporting

• Assisting the accounting department as needed with reporting and various tasks

What you have: 

• Ability to work in the West Valley City Clicklease office from 9 AM- 6 PM every weekday

• 1 year of accounting experience

• An affinity to learning new Software and a desire to utilize the software to its fullest

• Intermediate knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams etc..)

What will make you stand out: 

• A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

• Experience in the leasing or finance industries

• Experience using the following Software:

  • Bill.com

  • Thomson Reuters

  • QuickBooks Online

  • Expensify

  • Divvy

  • Salesforce
